A Marinade To Die For

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2015
I used real butter (melted) and all it did was curdle in the marinade. Did anyone else have trouble with this? My soda was room temp, as well all the other ingredients.

Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2015
I think this recipe is well written if you are short on time, otherwise I recommend using fresh broccoli, rotisserie chicken, and regular rice. I also subbed the processed cheese for a variety of shredded cheeses and added crushed cornflakes with melted butter as a topping. I gave it 5 stars because even though I changed it up, it's still the same idea. Thank you for submitting!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2014
We really enjoyed these. I read through several reviews and saw that several people made comments about the bake time. I used bone in chops so the bake time in this recipe was correct. Turned out very juicy. Thanks for submitting!

Caramel Snack Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2014
I have this exact recipe but it is made from start to finish in the microwave. Mine says to cook the butter, syrup, and brown sugar for 2 min. in the microwave and stir. Then cook 2 min. more. Put the cereal into a large microwavable bowl and pour syrup mixture over to coat, stirring gently. Microwave an additional 4 min. stirring every minute. Pour on parchment paper to cool and break apart. I add peanuts, pretzels and choc. covered candies when cool. Love this recipe!

Canned Spiced Pickled Beets

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2014
My first time canning beets. What a great recipe! My whole house smells delicious and they taste wonderful! The only problem I had was not knowing for sure how much 12 pounds was...no kitchen scale. So I ended up having to make more syrup as I had too many beets. But no big deal. Thanks for submitting, it's a keeper!

Easter Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2014
I have made a recipe similar to this for years. Mine requires to make it and refrigerate over night so that the eggs soak into the hashbrowns. It is fluffy and turns out everytime. So much easier than precooking the potatoes first especially if you are using it for a holiday meal. From refrig. to oven and done in an hour!

O' Henry Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2014
I have made these bars for years and we love them. The key is to not over bake them. Remember they continue to bake in the pan after they are out of the oven. The idea is to simply melt the crust so it will stay in one piece when serving.I bake mine for 10 mins. I have always melted the peanut butter and choc. together and then spread on crust.Let cool. Then cut and serve. Enjoy!

Pumpkin Muffins with Streusel Topping

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2014
What a great healthy snack! I loved these! I did use the whole can of pumpkin and got 24 muffins. I did not make the topping as I was in a hurry....next time. They only needed 25 mins. in the oven.
