These are really delicious! I'm usually not that much a fan of CC cookies but I decided to make my father cookies for fathers' day and decided to try these for a compromise. And they are very good. They come out very upright and soft for reference. I substituted hald my flour with wholewheat. I also added some almond extract for personal preference and I'm glad I did as I think the almonds would only add texture otherwise. Also the amount of chocolate in the recipe seemed pretty much overkill so I cut it a lot, just adding until it looked right in my bowl.

Oh my God. This is one of the best breads I have ever made. And I love making bread. I used this as more of a starter, there are so many possibilities! I didn't have any rosemary (this looks shameful but hey I'm on vacation in an empty house) so I used an herb combination mainly consisting of thyme with oregano, parsley, and basil. Looking back I'm glad that I didn't have any rosemary. I make a mean rosemary focaccia and I like that this was something new. I used a milk/water combo. I substituted one of the cups of flour (all purpose) with whole wheat flour and added a healthy dose of flax seed. (you need to add more water/warm milk when you do this) And this also sounds bad (hah) but I usually use my trusty food processor to knead so this was the first time I've done it by hand. I'm happy it was such a success! Thanks!

sooo delicious! I used just regular chips rather than high quality chocolate and like another reviewer suggested just used my mixer and it turned out fine. I also used a miz of white and milk chocolate chips in step 2. Just because I wanted to avoid them being too much like choco chip cookie bars. I put them in the fridge overnight before cutting them. The perfect melding between blondies and fudge in my case! Will use again

This came out AMAZING! While I was making the chicken in the skillet I got nervous because the 'sauce' was blackened so I tried not to spread it on the chicken. But after sampling it I found that the sauce is great and somehow didn't taste burnt at all. The chicken came out perfectly tender and was gobbled up! One comment though is that it took me about 15 minutes of cooking the chicken (after adding the lime juice) with a lid to cook it through. I don't know what this 5 minute business is about. Delicious!

I ommited salt and used grated onion instead of powder. It was awesome! It gave just the kick I needed to the pasta salad I was making. So glad that I was out of the boring bottled brand

This was a very good cookie. I've always had trouble making basic chocolate chip cookies so I've been trying new recipes to see what works. This were great. The first batch I made without walnuts and they spread really weird. After adding the nuts thought they became perfect!

Simple and delicious. My first try at guacamole and it came out great. One comment though is to make sure you have ripe avacados in time. The supermarket's avacados were not ripe.

This was great for a quick lunch idea when I had a pot full of beans and no new ideas. Can't wait to try it out for school lunches, thanks! update: tried it out for lunch. And it came out really nasty. The wrap fell apart and the whole thing ended up as a soggy warm mess. It seems like a good idea though if you can keep it nice and cold and not rip the tortilla

This is a review only for the ravioli filling!!!!!: I used my usual dough for pasta: 500 g of flour (mix of AP and whole grain) 5 eggs and a dash of water. For the filling I subbed gouda for the provalone and it was still pretty awesome great combination of cheeses. I made a ricotta cream sauce with garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, and fresh parsley.

Oh my goodness very very good! I made a lot of changes however. I wanted to make blackberry muffins so I used a cup and a half of frozen blackberries. Then I used a few spoonfuls of strawberry jam. I used about a sixth of a cup less sugar. Then I was going to use the 1 cup milk-1 cup yogurt substitute but Iinstead I used sour cream instead of yogurt. I used oats instead of wheat germ. And...I added some sliced almonds for texture. And, finally, I added a hefty sprinkling of flax seed to the dry ingredients. So I really changed the recipe but they came out amazing. At the end before they were done I brushed the muffin tops with milk and sugar. Got 12 Large muffins in the end. I really packed them full. The only problem was that Iused muffin cups and didn't butter them and the muffins really stick to the paper. Next time I'll just butter the tray

Though this bread is delicious I wouldn't call it a ciabatta. This is probably mostly on my part however. I prepared the dough in the traditional sense, kneading it by hand on my floured counter and in that way added a lot more flour than intended. However before I started kneading I was surprised at how non sticky it was. After making challah consistently nothing looks 'too wet' anymore I suppose. Another thing I did was swap 3/4 cup white flour for whole wheat. Instead of spritzing, I brushed water with a pastry knife and also had a pan filled with water in the oven-I was terrified I would burn my arm off. Still-a delicious loaf. I am a total die hard for a crust brushed with water or egg white (aha as seen by my obsession with challah)

Very very good. I got my mother to eat two heaping servings and she hates black beans. Only a four because I can't imagine this being a two serving recipe. This with some rice I made fed five with plentiful leftovers. Also, I made some additions: no salt, a chopped tomato, some corn, and more pepper (I used orange). Will make again

Came out glorious even with me messing them up. I didn't have enough sour cream so I used mostly plain yogurt-nonfat yogurt-so I thought they would be chalky or rubbery but they were actually really good. Plus I put too much baking soda/powder in (messed up 1/2 tsp with 1/4 tsp). Delicious!

This was delicious! I only reduced the stars because of the changes I made. I only used half a stick of butter first of all. I used angel hair instead of fettucine. I used a lot more lemon juice. And about a cup of vege broth (would have been too dry). Instead of salt n pepper I used about a tsp of cajun jerk seasoning and hefty shakings of pepper (probably about 1/4 tsp). In retrospect it might have benefited from a bit more parsley. I used frozen uncooked shrimp and my family is still raving over how tender I made it in the other room(yay!). I forgot about the garlic and added at the end so it was basically raw. And I just mixed it all together in the same pan. I really liked it

While my family was full of love for this recipe I was a bit more sceptical. It was pretty good but bland. I added some vegetables to the sauce and onion. I also tried to liven it up with some spice. Cumin seeds added a lot I think.

While the taste wasn't bad-a little too sour maybe-the texture mushy I thought. My father and brother raved for it though so maybe I just hate fish???

Pretty good for a sugar cookie recipe. Very run of the mill though, I used this because I needed to make a very simple cookie and I actually couldn't remember how to make sugar cookies because it has been so long! They were good but I just don't think sugar cookies are exciting enough to make regularly

Added fresh parsley, parmesan, and used real garlic instead of salt. Delicious!

I was looking for a blondie recipe, thought I found one for cookie bars, and ended up with something more like a heavy cake. The batter was very thick which I wasn't expecting for a brownie batter. I tried swirling caramel and fudge through which improved it a bit. I will not try again

I baked this according to instructions, only I didn't have lemons on hand (just extract and juice) so I used orange. The cake came out way too dense. I was expecting light and fluffy and got something heavier than a pound cake.
