White Chocolate Cheesecake with White Chocolate Brandy Sauce

Amazing! 2 things- I ommitted the flour, to make it gluten free, worked fine without it. I used 2x the white choc. & melted some to drizzle over the cake after cooled. It was picture perfect! I also baked it at 350, since I had a second cheesecake in the oven. I didn't get around to making the sauce, which I think would have added a lot to the flavor- it just needed that compliment.

Chocolate Cappuccino Cheesecake

I love this recipe! A couple notes- I did pre-bake the crust to make sure it didn't get soggy. I didn't have liqueur, so I subbed in more espresso. I used giradelhi choc chips, & melted the leftover 3 ozs for a drizzled garnish after it was baked. Whipped cream comes in handy to fill in any cracks, but I preheated the oven with a roasting pan of boiling water on the rack below, & my cake turned out perfect. Seriously, I got sooo many compliments- people asked if I was a professional!

Curry Sauce

This recipe hit the spot for us! I think its one that can be customized or altered based on your tastes & available ingredients. I used estimates on everything & it still came out great. My favorite is to cook chicken or pork in lime & onions, add it to this sauce, & serve over quinoa. I also added some leftover HUMMUS last minute, sort of on a whim, and it actually filled out the sauce & gave it great body! Fresh tomatoes are great to use this time of year too.

Texas Black Bean Soup

I wanted to make this soup, but I had to use what was on hand- made it pretty much as stated, but started by browning minced garlic & onions in oil. Then added broth from last week's homemade chicken soup. Added the rest of the ingredients, except didn't have chili powder, so I threw in a can of chili. simmered for 20 minutes, added the celery & carrots from that leftover chicken soup, and some hot sauce- amazing! If you want it thicker, you can throw 2 cups of the soup in the blender for a second & then put back in the soup. I poured mine on a baked potato, topped with cheese, and served to my appreciative husband.

Bar Cookies from Cake Mix

I love this recipe. I made it for the first time with lemon cake mix, didn't use any mix ins, and it was great. It was fine as is, but I could see how adding 1 more TBS of water might be good. So quick & easy, yet moist & rich.
