About this Cook
Currently a culinary student working on my degree in baking and pastry. Love to bake, love to learn, and love to be inventive.
My favorite things to cook
Anything with flour and I am a happy baker.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Love having monkey bread on Christmas morning and chili for Halloween.
My cooking triumphs
I have invented three recipes to date, and still counting.
My cooking tragedies
Cooking and I don't get along much. I would much rather be baking, but I can cook when necessary.

Peanut Butter Cookies IV
Fantastic. Made exactly to recipe and added chocolate chips. Very moist and stayed soft even though they were left out over night (because husbands can't follow directions). Only 4 stars thought because directions said 10 to 12 minutes and mine nearly burned at the 10 minute mark. Otherwise fantastic!

Kerry's French Toast
Been promising my other half a french toast breakfast for awhile now, so I came here for inspiration. I Love the recipe for the cream cheese stuffing, but I'm afraid that a simple (very simple) egg batter just isn't enough for me. Luckily, I used left over cinnamon bread to make these, otherwise I know all I would have tasted was the filling and the egg. Next time I will use a heartier batter, and probably a thicker bread that I can actually stuff rather than sandwich. I will also use clarified butter rather than strait butter for the frying. Can't wait to try these again!

Best Lemonade Ever
Just okay for me. Made it for a Bridal Shower and didn't like it much so I ended up tweaking it a LOT. Added POM, Orange juice, ginger ale, and a little vodka.
