anything I don't burn, lol. I love to cook italian and some greek recipes since my husband is greek.
My favorite family cooking traditions
On the holidays, I am usually the one to have everyone over. I love to cook for the boys and when I see their eyes light up over something that I've made that they like, it really tugs at my heart strings.

making food that my picky mother inlaw actually likes!
My cooking tragedies
once I made a bachemel sauce for a greek dish I was cooking and I didn't realize that the milk had gone sour. When we sat down to eat, everyone had this really strange look on their face after tasting the meal, like they were being poisoned!

Best Ever Corn Muffins
Delicious! I didn't change a thing. This is a really good recipe if you like your muffins on the sweet side. I suppose you could cut down on the sugar if needed.I also never thought to use biscuit mix, but it worked wonderfully. The batter fit into 3 smaller loaf pans, since I was too pressed on time to make muffins. Will definitely keep recipe and make again. Thanks.

Baked Pork Chops I
I was looking for a new recipe using pork chops so I tried this one. I am usually sceptical about trying something different in fear of ruining dinner at he cost of meat these days. so, I took the ratings word for it. Well it was a hit. Hubby loved it and he's not usaually a pork chop fan. As the other readers said, you can double the soup mixture if you'ld like more, but for six chops, it was fine. I would definitely make it again and have added it to my collection. I used thinner chops and only loosely covered the pan with foil. It didn't take long to cook at all, within 30 minutes.
