This is an excellent glaze. I used it on my Christmas cut-out cookies this year. However, it didn't stay shiny. I used water and it was hard and didn't smear but not shiny after a while. Any suggestions?

Honey Wheat Bread I

This bread was delicious but took much longer to rise. I t also didn't raise as much as I thought it should. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be as dense as it came out or not. It was light and good but dense. Maybe this is the way wheat bread is supposed to be.

Hash Brown Casserole II

This was very good. I used cream of celery soup and I thought the dish could have used more seasoning. Maybe it was the soup I used but since I don't eat meat I didn't want to use the chicken.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

I made this recipe twice. First time I poured syrup over crust on top and lost a lot of it over the sides. Next time I mixed syrup with apples and saved a little to put on top. Came out much better the second time. This could use a little more seasoning, perhaps some cinnamon.

Cheese Lasagna

Definitely needs more sauce. Everyone said it was too dry. Otherwise, delicious. I'm making more sauce to put over it.

Sourdough Bread I

I would like to know what I did wrong. After leaving all night I had to add flour to be able to knead. Then the dough never raised again. I had to throw it away. Any suggestions??

Caramel Corn Snack Mix

There is so much popcorn that I didn't have a big enough bowl or pan to mix in. Also the caramel sticks to your teeth. Maybe I didn't cook long enough or too long?? Otherwise, declicious.
