Marie's Homemade Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
Brought to a potluck and it was the hit! Used colby-jack cheese. Followed recipe exactly, otherwise. I didn't even use salt or pepper during or after cooking. Pepper would add to it's deliciousness though. I'll definitely be making this again so my family can enjoy. For the topping, I sliced the cheese instead of using shredded. I halved this recipe and filled a 9x13 pan perfectly.

Sausage Spinach Alfredo Lasagna

Reviewed: May 16, 2010
This turned out great! However it only needs 3/4 pkg of a 9oz box of no-boil lasagna noodles, not 16oz like recipe said. I used a 14oz tube of veggie sausage to make it vegetarian. And I used a jar of the sun-dried tomato alfredo sauce. Very flavorful.. and my 8yr old loved it too (3 helpings!).

Chocolate Mint Candies Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2012
I made these cookies for our neighborhood cookie exchange today and they were a HUGE hit! One person even said I left all the other cookies in the dust! And I have to say, I totally agree! I used dark chocolate mint truffle kisses. Mmmm. Just the right about of chewy-ness to them. Even when stored in the fridge. This is a keeper for sure.

Red, White, and Blue Fruit Smoothie

Reviewed: May 22, 2011
Yummm ! I love that this recipe doesn't use juice. It's sooo good, which I attribute in large part to the vanilla extract. Delicioso !!

Original Chex® Party Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2013
This was really fun to make with my daughter. I doubled the seasonings as one reviewer suggested. I used broken up garlic Melba toast in place of bagel chips. Also, I cooked in the oven, just because it's more fun that way. This turned out fantastic.

French Onion Dip From Scratch

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2013
Five stars because it really does taste much better than the boxed onion soup mix version! I made this as the recipe states, except used one a half cups sour cream, and half cup mayo. In just 20 mins the onions were carmelized to perfection. What an easy recipe! Soooo tasty :)

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
MMMmmmmmm. Now that was a good cookie :) Perfect! Made recipe just as-is. Only with half the amount of chocolate chips, which I prefer. OH - and no walnuts (ick).

Very Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2014
These turned out delicious! I had no chocolate chips (or powdered sugar, as another reviewer had suggested) but it didn't matter. They are sooo good. I also only had half a tsp of vanilla, which was apparently sufficiant because everybody loved them!!

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
My family all loved this stuffed chicken. I halved the recipe, but used the full 2tbsp of lemon juice and a full tbsp of crushed garlic. Took Advice of another reviewer and skipped the milk. Just dipped the stuffed chicken in the melted butter/lemon/garlic mixture then in the Italian bread crumbs (which I mixed with parmesan). It took 40-45mins to cook. Will make again for sure!!

Penne with Chicken and Pesto

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2012
This dish did not turn out as creamy as I'd hoped. There was basically no evidence of the cream in the finished product. Maybe I would use additional cream next time. I added a bit more pesto as suggested in other reviews but it was a bit overwhelming. I'd stick with the original 1/4 cup if I tried again. Also, 1 tablespoon oil would have been plenty, 2 TBSPs was a bit much. AND there were too many noodles in this recipe.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
Just made this tonight and it's Delicious! I'm a vegetarian so I scooped some sauce out for myself before I added the chicken. It is so creamy, garlicy, and mmm..goood. Left out the mushrooms. But added some chopped sundried tomato, which I HIGHLY recommend! This dish took me an hour and a half to prepare, but will be quicker next time now that I know what I'm doing.
