Chocolate Fudge Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2011
Great! Made them slightly smaller than suggested, and they turned out nice and crisp on the edges, soft (but not gooey) in the middle. The five minutes on the tray after baking seems to make a big difference.

Cathy's Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
I only took away the fifth star because no adjustments were made for the use of 13x9 pan vs loaf pans. I used the 13x9 and it was done in about 35 min. Delicious recipe. I mixed everything in one bowl (though it'd probably be better to at least separate wet/dry ingredients initially - I'm lazy), and it turned out great. Yum.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
Very simple and tasty. You can't mess this one up. I didn't chill them at all, didn't grease the cookie sheets, and didn't flatten them with a fork and they still came out great. I even decided to mix everything in one bowl, just to see how it would happen. Perfect.

Fluffy Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
I never seem to have any luck with biscuits, but with this recipe, I got it right. I'm not into shortening, so I used butter. Instead of cutting in the butter, I squished it with my hands. Felt yucky but it did the trick. I didn't roll, just flattened with my hands. They are fluffy and perfect!

Key Lime Pie VI

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
Wonderful! My first key lime pie and it turned out beautifully. This got rave reviews at our Christmas dinner tonight. I took out about 1/3C water and replaced it with more lime juice and it was perfect. Will be making again!
