My favorite things to cook
I LOVE baking my cake cookies. Its a simple recipe I got in 7th grade cooking class. I know it by heart and sometimes I dye the dough different neon colors if I have a light colored dough. I also love to add my own ingridients and try new flavors with it. Cinnamon is a family and friend favorite.
My cooking triumphs
I recently got a baked potato soup recipe for my Hospitality class. I showed it to my uncle and he said that he would help me make the whole thing. We hadn't made it in class yet so I wasn't sure how it'd turn out. SO GOOD!!! We made everything x4 so there was enough for leftovers for my family of 6 including my uncle. But next time...not so much inion. Ick...
My cooking tragedies
We made a homemade "banana pudding" in Hospitality. We were supposed to make it one day and then eat it the next day. It looked and smelled good while making it and my group tried to make the pudding mixture as smooth as we could even though it was supposed to be lumpy. We layered the bottom of the pan with vanilla wafers and bananas and then put some more bananas on top of the pudding. When we ate it the next day- GROSS!!!! It made me gag! It was flavorless mush! Once in a while I got a hint of banana but other than that- nothing. I ended up only taking a few bites and throwing the rest away. I'll never make it again. I'm sticking to instant pudding<3

Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice Soup
My dad and I love chicken and wild rice soup so I was really excited when he found this recipe. We didn't add the mushroom or wine and it turned out well though it wasn't very soupy. We made it a second time recently and this time whisked the flour and milk together to make it more smooth, added more rice, and added more milk- it came out awesome!
