On the menu for today was a delicious sounding Roasted Vegetable Medley. I chose that since we had homemade perogis in the freezer and a jar of Marinara that Chef Chad had made. I wanted to create something and I though it sounded pretty delicious.

I've been married to my wonderful husband for 16 years! We have 4 Growing! boys ages 14-4. I never used to cook dinner (or anything) because hubby is a chef.... but I decided to start and this is TheNewMe!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook dessert! I also really like to use what we have in the house, its a challenge for me to use what I have and to make just enough for dinner. I don't want to waste food!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Hubby loves to work in the kitchen so often he will bring home a bushel of tomatoes, potatoes, sun chokes,(you name it) and then process away. I like to figure out how I can use this food!
My cooking triumphs
Love it when I get complements from the kids, and when I get it all cleaned up and put away before husband comes home from work. It looks like the dinner just appeared.
My cooking tragedies
Well I really didn't follow recipes until last month so I have too many to write here! Now that I know I just have to follow the directions until I learn more I am much better at it!
