Hot Tamale Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2012
This was SOOOO Delish! I make a Taco Pie as well and love it so much but thought I would try this as well. The only changes I made was with the meat mixture. I browned the meat, then drained and added taco seasoning and water and let it simmer. Served it with sour cream and guacamole, YUM!! The corn adds a nice flavor too.

Florentine Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
This dip was AWESOME!!! I made it for a party and everyone loved it and wondered what the secret was! I've made several different dips like this but this one was the best! I used marinated artichokes and cut them up. I only used one garlic clove and did not have lemon juice. It was still perfect!! Cant wait to make it again!

Tater Tot Casserole III

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2011
This was sooo yummy!! My husband even loved it (which rarely happens)! I cut the butter in half. And used bread crumbs instead of corn flakes b/c I didnt have any. Also used about 1 Tbsp of minced onion, maybe could have increased it. My tater tots were frozed and still cooked fine in 1 hour, then I let it sit with foil on top for about 15 min til our turkey burgers were done. Made for a yummy side dish!!

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
This was very good. Used exact recipe except didnt have Italian bread crumbs so used Plain and added some Oregano, basil and thyme. Did not drizzle butter on top but next time I will. My husband loved it, which is not always common. Will make again soon!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2010
This was great! I used 2lbs hamburger and 3 eggs, for the steak sauce I used A1. I cooked for almost an hour at 350 with foil on it. Then coated it with the mixture of 3T ketchup, 1 T honey, 1/2 T A1, took foil off and cooked for about 15-20 longer. It was moist and flavorful! DH says the best he ever had. Kids even loved it. I also put bread at the bottom and I see how it does catch the grease, great idea. Will make again!
