Tofu Keema

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
This is a wonderful recipe. Some additions and changes that I've made: first, I only had completely pulverized tomatoes, so I used them--they work great. My second time making this recipe I added grated zucchini and carrot, plus chopped red peppers, to the onion phase of cooking. The taste was excellent, and my boy friend who's just starting to eat healthy didn't even know he was eating the extra veggie content!

Light Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2011
Absolutely fantastic! Worked out perfectly, follow the directions to shape into balls and not flatten, perfect results. My girl and I added 4 varieties of chips and they worked out very well. I highly recommend peanut butter flavour.

Pork Steaks

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
This was great, I did make some adjustments to the sauce (with the exception of a few more cloves of garlic), but only after the steaks were taken out. While cooking I did everything as per recipe: it worked great. AFTER I took the steaks out of the sauce, I added sugar and flour to make a terriyaki sauce out of what was essentially the component parts in the pan. It was great! The original didn't -need- the sugar but I would suggest it as a nice flair.

Eggplant Parmesan I

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
I made this last night and it was fantastic! I didn't have any ricotta cheese hanging around, which was sad, but the recipe did well without it. For extra flavor and texture I used mushrooms stir fried with garlic in olive oil--the flavour of this addition was wonderful. I imagine that using a good marinara is key, I used a canned pasta sauce that my household likes.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
I solid banana bread/muffin base recipe. My guy 'doesn't eat bananas' so this is a great way to sneak some fruit in him. When looking for a basic recipe that does the job, this is the trick right here.

Cheese Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
I've been going through a lot of biscuit recipies lately, looking for the right one. This definitely did the trick! I had to half the recipie due to an ingredient being nearly out, and I did not include garlic, and used green onions instead of chives. It was fantastic.
