Barbeque Pork Two Ways

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2013
Very good! I don't slice my pork and I add sriracha sauce for extra heat, but this is the base recipe I use.

Slow Cooker Thai Pork with Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2013
Love this recipe! I added about 2 tbsp. of sriracha sauce for some extra heat. The peppers turn to mush if you put them in at the beginning. Adding them at the last hour is perfect (though unfortunately less convenient as a slow cooker meal).

Black Bean Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
Pretty good! I made these for my toddler who is very anti-protein. They are in no way a truly decadent brownie, but for a healthy alternative they do the job! I omitted the coffee and mixed the chocolate chips right into batter.

Toddler Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2013
Made this for my veggie-hating toddler, and unfortunately they were not a hit. I have to agree with him. Quite dense and not a very nice flavor.

Sweet Potato Cookies II

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2013
Pretty good. I rolled them into balls and pressed down with a fork like a peanut butter cookie. The lemon flavor was nice. Not an astounding cookie, but a decent, healthy alternative to most recipes.

The Best Fresh Tomato Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2013
Excellent! My go-to salsa recipe. I use the juice and zest of a whole lime and omit the jalapeño seeds.

Slow Cooker French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2013
Nice and simple recipe! I used vermouth instead of sherry. Next time I will try it with regular beef broth instead of low sodium because I found it lacked salt. A+

Great way to use up my bumper herb crop at the end of the summer! I used quinoa instead of bulgar.

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
Excellent salsa and I've gotten many requests for the recipe. I use only 2-3 tomatoes so as to have approx. the same quantity of tomato, mango and avocado. I also use the zest of 1 lime along with its juice.

Thai Pineapple Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
Very good! I used 2 tbsp of paste, some lemon zest and grated ginger, 2 chicken breasts, and only 1 can of coconut milk. Will make this again for sure! Made for fantastic leftovers as well.

Profanity Salmon

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2010
Pretty good! I didn't have teriyaki sauce so I used soya sauce, and I increased the amount of wasabi as suggested in other reviews. Visually it wasn't the prettiest dish I've ever made, but it sure did taste good!
