This recipe has the capability to become a great mainstay teriyaki sauce. The cider vinegar in here makes it different, & gives it some excellent tang.
I felt it had too much sugar, although if I had grilled it I think it would have helped the sugar in the sauce to burn out more and reduce the sweetness. Next time I use it for baking, I'm planning on reducing the sugar to a couple tbsp. The recipe as it comes is still really good, it should just be used sparingly over any steamed rice or veggie sides
