Delicious! This is my first time trying leeks and this is a fantastic dish. I would actually double the leeks on this. Thanks for sharing!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2011
This is an excellent recipe. I did however add 1/4 cup of mayo and a tablespoon of fresh thyme to the mix. The chicken turned out extremely moist and my hubby and I both agreed it was the best chicken we had had in a very long time!

Whole Egg Mayonnaise II

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2011
Very good and simple recipe. I have also used juice from a half of a lemon (= 2 TBS). Very tasty! I also have tried using apple cider vinegar and added a teaspoon of garlic powder... yummy! Will never buy mayo from the store again!

Bud's Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
This is an excellent recipe! I did add some red and green pepper to it to add a little crunch and color. The time it takes is well worth it! Thank you, this is a keeper!

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: May 2, 2011
I was not overly impressed with this. The chicken did turn out tender and moist, but it just did not have a lot of flavor. Will keep experimenting though.

Really Good Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: May 1, 2011
This was a good recipe but a little runny. I will reduce the liquids by 1/4 - 1/2 cups next time.

Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles

Reviewed: May 1, 2011
This is a very easy and simple recipe. I used semi sweet choc chips for dipping as I think almond bark is too sweet. I also added 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to it as it adds to the distinctive taste that cookie dough has. Thanks for sharing!

Mama's Asian Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
This is a very good recipe. I didn't have the 5 spice or red pepper flakes, but this turned out very well. I did add 1/4 tsp of ground ginger instead. It is a keeper in our house. I served this with green beans and hubby stated that an egg roll or crab rangoon would've been a nice addition. Definitely will serve again.

Home Made Mayonnaise

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2011
This is a good recipe! I doubled the recipe, used 1/4 tsp of ground mustard instead of the prepared mustard and 2 cups of canola oil. I used my immersion blender to make this right in the jar. The secret to getting this to emulsify is to make sure your ingredients are room temperature. I add the oil slowly pouring from my measuring cup. I no longer use store bought mayonnaise. I am going to try this with different herbs also. Thanks for a good recipe. Oh... for those of you who want the miracle whip taste add 1 - 2 TBS of sugar... this will sweeten it up.

Chocolate Mini Loaves

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
FYI - applesauce in this recipe does not replace the sugar it is a substitute for oil/butter. I added 1 cup of brown sugar and it turned out much sweeter.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
This is a good recipe. I changed it a bit by replacing 1/2 of the butter/oil with applesauce and only had strawberry jam & frozen raspberries. I used a small jar of jam and added 1-1/2 cups of the raspberries to it. Next time I will try added some orange zest to the fruit and prior to topping it I will sprinkle chocolate chips to it.

This is very good. I recommend that you chop up the water chestnuts as they are a little overpowering just sliced.. I also omitted the grapes.

Tasty Buns

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2011
These are very good and very easy to make. You can also shape them into hotdog/hoagie rolls. I subsituted 1.5 cups of wheat flour to make them a little healthier and they still turned out great!

Runnin' Rebels Ranch Guacamole

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
This is a very good recipe. To keep dip from turning brown, place plastic wrap directly on top of dip and press down to seal to edges. This keeps air out of contact with the avacado and thus no browning.

Wheat Crackers

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
This is a very good basic recipe. I just made them as stated and my daughter & husband both enjoyed them. I add 1/4 tsp of baking powder to it to make them lighter. I have also added dried basil, garlic and onion powder. Tried it with tomato pesto also. Multiple cracker tastes. I have a hand crank pasta machine and the final dial down is set at 5 and this yields a nice thin cracker.
