French Dip Sandwiches

This recipe was wonderful. Another reviewer used the word "earthy" and that definitely describes the taste. It is a great combination of beefy flavor with the spices. I also served mine on toasted buns for a big family gathering. I used a 5 pound roast to feed 14 people and we had tons of leftovers.

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

AMAZING. I moved to a Caribbean island while pregnant and after a few months, I was wishing for donuts. Donuts weren't available on the island so I googled a recipe and came up with this one. It is AMAZING. The sweetness is definitely in the glaze. I find I have to add a little more water to it otherwise I run out of glaze before I run out of donuts. I also find that I end up with about 3 dozen donuts, not 18; however, I use a cup and a bottle cap to cut out mine. I'm not sure how readily available it is in the States but I like to add vanilla wit instead of vanilla extract to the glaze. Like I said, AMAZING. This recipe has taken our island by storm!!!! This recipe is the reason I joined this website!

Mango Lime Smoothie

The first time we made this, we added yogurt like all the reviews recommended. My husband and I both thought the yogurt detracted from the taste of the mangoes. The second time I made it, I added a little bit of milk instead because it didn't have enough liquid to blend in my blender. The mango taste was much stronger and we liked it better but the kids didn't finish theirs. This recipe should be called a slushie, not a smoothie! It's mango season here in the Caribbean and we will definitely be making this recipe again!

Chicken Skillet Fajitas

The chicken soup made for an interesting twist on fajitas. It was good, but it wasn't really "wow." I'd make this again but I'll keep searching for the "perfect" fajita recipe. As far as easiness, it was definitely 5 stars!
