Classic Goulash

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2011
This is the goulash my husband grw up with. I made him the goulash I grew up with and his reaction was.... Mine was nothing more than bacon, stewed tomatoes and cream corn, heated through and served with buttered bread. It is actually very good.

Chilled Cucumber Yogurt Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
This is so good. I put two avacadoes in,big bunch of mint and whatever bunch the store had for the dill. Used no fat plain greek yogurt and topped with feta cheese crumbles. I had lemon cuces and white cuces in the garden so used those. Needs the salt, bland without it. Will make this again.

Five Minute Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
We made this with no fat vanilla yogurt, about 1/2 c of whey low sugar and frozen strawaberries. The berries were whole and not chopping easy in the food processor so microwaved then for 30 seconds. Worked fine. This made a really good and healthy frozen yogurt.

Pineapple Cherry Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
Ok to start with but is a LOT better with double the jello and pineapple. With the added cherry flavor and pineapple it was the favorite at our annual ice cream family get together.

Surprise Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
I just made this, will see how it comes out. I used whey low sugar for most of the sugar needed. Whey low is used a lot by daibetics to keep the glycemic levels ok. I ended up using 4 c of the powdered, 1 c of granular and 1 c reg sugar. I test tasted the beaters. It was a bit grainy but very good, sweet enough without the other 1 1/2 cups called for. I see why powdered sugar is used instead of granular, being this fudge is not cooked.
