Sausage Stuffed Jalapenos

Reviewed: May 1, 2010
OMG!! These were amazing! I made these for my hubby's bday party and they were a hit! Instead of the sausage, I just cooked up some ground pork and threw in some spices. Also, I used a pre-shredded mixture of cheese. Are making them again tonight! Thanks for the recipe!

Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
Fantastic! The only changes I made were added 1. more amount of veggies and 2. home made chili powder. Spiced it up! Would have been good w/out though!

Sourdough Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
Okay, I absolutely loved this bread. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is that it had a very subtle sour taste. So, as far as sourdough goes, its a 4, but for a slightly off-white bread, its a 5 star!

Chicken and Lentils

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
I threw everything in the crockpot, added green pepper and substituted duck instead of chicken. YUMMM! I also used 1/2 spaghetti sauce and 1/2 homemade salsa. And 1 1/2 c. chicken stock. Served over macaroni. Great winter, warm up your body & soul dish!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
I changed this recipe quite a bit and it was still amazing! I added 1/2 c canola oil instead of the shortening. I substituted flaxseed and water mixture for the eggs, since I had none. had 2 cups of rolled oats and 1 cup of quick oats. I also didn't have many raisins left, so I added a cup of coconut instead. I also doubled the amount of cinnamon and cloves. Yum Yum!

My whole family LOVED this soup! The only change I made was added about a cup of water. I just used the ham bone with some ham on it. Great recipe and it will be added to my favorites!

Soup was really good but it just didn't wow me. It almost tasted like Campbells tomato soup just with alot more flavour. Will definatly make it again.

Marbled Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2007
Fantastic! I didn't make it separately to marble, I just mixed all the ingredients and used it like that. I also topped it with the maple pecan glaze from the Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake by Eaglebrand. We also used the white ghost pumpkin puree that we roasted ourselves. The gingersnap crust was to die for!!
