Chocolate Cream Pie II

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
Well, I made my very first chocolate cream pie! Patting myself on the back! It turned out AMAZING! This recipe is simple and so delicious! Thankfully I read the reviews and I too upped the amount of cornstarch. It set perfect! My hubby likes a stronger chocolate taste, so next time I will increase the cocoa! Thanks for all the other reviews, they are so helpful, especially when trying a recipe for the first time! I can't stop smiling!

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IV

Mine turned out amazing! I followed these to the letter. My only wish was that I had read the reviews first and added more cinnamon! These are NOT going to last long!

Tried this recipe and LOVED it! The kids went hog wild on them! The only change I made was a bit less nutmeg! They turned out fluffy and moist! Fantastic!

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2013
Well, I ventured into my own pastry making today and after reading reviews, I chose this one. And I am SO GLAD! Oh, this turned out amazing! I was a bit concerned when I was mixing it, it still seemed a bit dry, so just a touch more of the cold water made it perfect! I am so pleased! I am so glad for the reviews from all of you, those help so much! Especially for a first timer. Now I can't wait to make another pie! :)

Aunt Carol's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2013
Oh, this never makes it more than a day at our house! lol Such a wonderful recipe! The only thing I do differently is add a touch of nutmeg! And, like alot of the other reviewers, I cut down on the sugar. Love this! Thank you Aunt Carol! :)

Strawberry Tarts

Reviewed: May 29, 2013
I used pie crust to make my tart shells and I didn't have apple juice, so substituted with orange juice and they are AWESOME! :) I also didn't have fresh berries, so using frozen was a bit tricky!! Next time I will let them defrost in my colander over a bowl and use a bit of their juice in the glaze too! This is my first stab at tarts and this recipe was great to use. I will make my own lil modifications next time around! Thanks for this!
