I had an eight pound found tip roast from Costco that I wasn't sure what to do with. Tried this recipe and the results were amazing. The only thing different I did was brown the roast first, then put it in the crockpot using 4cups of water and two packages of Italian seasoning mix along with the other ingredients. I cooked it on high for five hours, then turned it on low for four. The outside of the roast was falling apart, and that's what we ate on sandwich rolls with grilled onions, green peppers and provolone cheese. I then put the remainder of the roast back in the crockpot and cooked on low overnight. I turned it off in the morning, and the entire roast was just falling apart. Wonderful aromas through the house and just delicious. My picky husband even said it was excellent. Will have this again, and again. So easy and versatile.
