Roasted Garlic Sweet Potatoes

I had made this for Thanksgiving since I don't care for sugary sweet potatoes. It is very good but as it sits for any length of time the garlic becomes too overpowering even when I cut the amount of garlic in half. And I am a garlic lover.

Texas Sheet Cake V

Stop at this one! This was so delicious and easy to make just as written. Made it for my daughter's 6th bday and it was gone! Start the frosting a couple of min. before the cake comes out of the oven so you can pour it on when it is done.

Crazy Cake

So yummy and moist! Can't even tell there are no eggs in there. My favorite chocolate cake and I always have the ingredients on hand. You can frost it or dust powdered sugar on it.

Homemade Maple Syrup

I just made it tonight! I added 1 Tblsp butter to it and my daughter said it smelled like panticakes (pancakes). So that is what we are having in the morning! So easy and so yummy. Hmmm, maybe on some icecream...

Honey Wheat Bread II

I am a first time bread maker. We chose to do this because of all the junk in store bought bread. I have made this recipe 4 times now and each time it gets a little better and a little easier. The first time I added 3 c wheat flr and 4c white flr. It was like kneading a rock! It was good for toast. Now I add 2 c wheat and 4 cup white knowing I add more white flr. as a knead it. The family likes it and I freeze the other loaf until we need it. Because there are no preservatives the bread tends to dry out in less than a week,

Pasta Con Sarde (Pasta with Sardines)

This was the very first time we ate sardines! We loved it. No fishy tast at all. Maybe because I bought a name brand sardine in water. We will be making this again!

Peri Peri African Chicken

This was so much better the second day on a salad. I thought this would be so flavorful. We could not taste the flavors the same day I made it even though it sat in the marinade for 24 hours. I had leftovers and man o man it was so yummy cold on a green salad.

Tuna Noodle Casserole I

This was very good and very simple to make. So much more healthy than adding can soup. You can also add any vegetable you want. I added edamame and sliced fresh mushrooms. I also used 2 cans of tuna and some of Emeril's essence for some spice. Add whatever flavors you want. Good stuff!
