This is delicious! Also made again with Jiffy Cornbread mix and it cut the prep time and was just as good!

Cheeseburger Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2011
Loved this recipe and so did picky hubby and 3 YO. Only substituted fresh sliced tomatoes from garden right under cheese layer b/c we don't like canned tomatoes. Far exceeded my expectations. Making and keeping in crock pot for potluck tonight. We'll see how well it turns out!

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
I just can't find a recipe that is cheesy enough for me but this one does have a wonderful smooth texture and was not dry in the middle like many others I have tried. Will try a combo of sharper cheeses next time and see how it turns out. Overall a keeper.

Kabob Marinade

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
This marinade was wonderful on steak and chicken. Everyone raved about it and asked for the recipe. I made one batch with regular yellow mustard and another with dijon and both were excellent. Can cut down a little on the soy sauce if you don't like the meat salty and I also omitted the meat tenderizer. Will print and keep in the family recipe book.

Taco Cornbread Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2011
This is so good. We make it all the time. I do a variety of toppings each time including: black olives, avacado, garden fresh tomatoes when in season, onions, shredded lettuce, hot cheese sauce, jalepenos and shredded cheeses. You can't go wrong with this recipe. Its filling, cheap and easy to throw together.

Tart and Bubbly Wedding Punch

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2011
I added 3 cups of water and used an ice ring (which lasted for about 3 hours). I used pineapple orange juice and regular ginger ale but I think almost any combination of fruit juices mixed with the cranberry juice and ginger ale will work. I have also made this recipe with regular lemonade and with out the cranberry juice to avoid stains from spills. Several people have asked me for the recipe and I will continue to make this.

Seasoned Crackers

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
Have had these at many parties but just made them myself for the first time this month. I used only 1/2 Cp of Oil and only 1/2 package of Ranch dressing mix powder and this turned out wonderfully. I would also suggest letting this sit in an air tight container overnight before serving as it allows the flavors to meld.

Easy Cheap and Yummy Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
This was good but not outstanding like I was expecting from the previous reviews. I altered it to make less: I used a 9x9 pan, 1 16 oz. can of original baked beans, 1 whole package of regular bun length hotdogs and 1 package of jiffy corn bread (mixed as directed on the box). I layered the beans and then all of the hot dogs, cut into 1/4 in slices (it made 2 full layers) and I did not have any problem with the cornbread being soggy. I baked on 400 for 30 minutes and cornbread was a perfect golden brown around the edges. Will make again but may try another flavor of beans.

Carla's Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2010
This dip is soooo easy and very tasty. I even tried it with cantelope and it was wonderful. This makes enough for 13+ people as an appetizer or be prepared to snack on it for a few days...either way, noone will be complaining.

Saltine Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
I made these wrong the first time I tried them and never tried them again. Too bad for me b/c these are wonderful if boiled for exactly 3 mins after a rolling boil starts. I also put these immediately into the fridge after spreading the choc. chips. and dusting with pecan pieces. I let sit in fridge for 2-3 hours before breaking smoothly into pieces. These also lift right out of the pan with no residue left behind. Really easy recipe!

Great Recipe! Never made no-bakes before but had tasted them many times. Was ecstatic at how easy and tasty this recipe was. Will make again and again. Recommend to anyone short on time.

Easy Vegetable Soup III

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2007
I was not a fan of the pasta in this as it became mushy if the soup was reheated a day or two later. I also do not like frozen veggies in this so I substituted with 2 large cans of veg-all and I added barley in place of the pasta and thought it was much better. Easy overall recipe and very filling. Would still recommend it as is to those less picky about their veggies.

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2007
I altered this recipe by adding fresh tomatoes from our garden and by adding a jar of sauerkraut. I end the layering with a second can of tomato sauce. I also choose to steam my rice first and therefore eliminated the broth it called for. The juice from the tomatoes and sauerkraut keeps it moist enough. very good recipe though. Easier than rolls and just as delicious.
