I'm Polish. I love to cook, making up my own recipes. Too bad I don't write them down... I make a mean Chicken Paprikash My Mom was a great cook. Christmas eve was my favorite. Polish Valia. We had nine different dishes. It was great being in the kitchen with Mom. I love throwing things together. Some of my best meals have been, what I call, Clean out the fridge meals. My leftovers have been made into some tasty dishes. Trying to rush. I was making a whole roaster of cabbage rolls. Well I took 8 out to cook in a pot, thinking they would get done faster. Well I forgot about them... until I smelled something burning. I threw away pot and all. Smell was hard to get rid of.
