Tater Tot Casserole III

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2014
The recipe I use is just about the same It came to me via my youngest son from the college and his apartment days. It is close other than add the diced onion with ground beef and use the regular cut green beans instead of the french cut, I usually make a fair amount so just eyeball it to add more ground beef and other ingredients to the original recipe. My form of cooking guess at it after you make it a couple of times don't do much measuring except with things like cakes and what your family likes.

Tom and Jerry

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
My aunt made the best I have ever had and her batter lasted for days, You filled a cup with batter, and a shot of liquor, rum, whiskey whatever you wanted, then put your boiling water in to fill all the way to the top and ate with a spoon until you reached the liquid with the liquor which was still at least warm yummy never could get the batter as stiff as she got it and keep as long but it was good and the kids liked it with just the boiled water added to batter when they were little

Wilted Lettuce Salad

Reviewed: May 3, 2011
This is an old time recipe. We used it on both lettuce, spinach and dandelions. Instead of red wine vinegar we used cider vinegar no lemon juice. As another poster stated add radishes sliced and sliced hard boiled eggs to make it a meal. The kids liked it well enough that we would have it once in awhile as lunch no left overs.
