Chocolatey Chocolate Chip Cookie Cups

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
Very good and very rich. Easy enough for a beginner and it took no time at all. I used peanut butter cups instead of the chips.

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
I thought this was pretty tasty. I really liked how the sauce thickend up by adding the parmesan cheese. I also added some shrimp and it came together nicely.

Easy, and delicious. Made no changes and served with broccoli. I had no complaints, and hardly any leftovers.

Rainbow Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2010
I though this was great. I am a fan of stir fry's with tons of vegetables and this satisfied me greatly. I got lots of compliments. I really like the hint of orange flavor, it was not overpowering and gave it an extra sweetness. The only changes I made were using more Teriyaki sauce (I didn't think 1/3 cup was enough for all the vege's) and to reduce the cooking time when first steaming the vegetables. I would use more like 5 minutes as I like mine still crispy. All in all a very tasty recipe.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
Yummy, I followed others comments to dredge the chicken in flour, but I don't think it was actually necessary. If anything it thickened up too much with the flour addition. Yet, the flavor was harmonious. My boyfriend loved the spiciness and still drenched his in Siracha. I would definitely make this again.

Chinese Chicken Salad III

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
AWESOME!!! I have not eaten at whatever restaurant that this recipe mimics, but I certainly love this salad. After adding the chicken and dressing to the lettuce, it did wilt a bit- but I actually loved this more! The dressing and toppings were perfect and I will make this again and again.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
Fabulous idea; the potatoes in the recipe were just okay, but the ease and simplicity of this dish makes it earn the stars. Tweak for your own taste and you wont be disappointed.

Cheese, Broccoli, and Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
I liked the flavor of this soup, the cheeses melted perfectly; but it made way too much. After the second day of this I still had enough to feed a 5 person family. Tasty but watch out you don't make too much

Vera Cruz Tomatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! It was simple and fulfilling. I added about 2 cooked shredded chicken breasts and a slightly less amount of spinach but kept everything else the same. It made a light and creamy meal; very satisfying.

Chicken Pesto a la Lisa

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
SO FREAKING GOOD!! My boyfriend, who claims he hates pesto, loves this dish. The flavors are perfect together. I do add more sun-dried tomatoes and basil and use cavatappi pasta instead, but keep everything else as is. The addition of the cornstarch thickens it up just enough and the pine nuts give it some added crunch. It has surely become one of my favorites!

Coriander and Cumin Rubbed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
I did not love this, it was "meh" when I was expecting "wow". I thought because of the spices (which I love them both) it made the pork really grainy. I did not get the intense flavor I was expecting. It wasn't terrible, just not fab.

Rossi's Sausage Gnocchi

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
This was delicious; so simple and sweet. I used sweet Italian sausage and it was fabulous. Also, having home made gnocchi before, it is quite time consuming. By using the pre-made packaged kind, you get all the deliciousness with a fraction of the work, I would absolutely recommend making this recipe.

I love the creativity of this bake. Like others have said by using pre-made pesto and polenta, it is really simple enough for children to make. If not vegetarian, add some sausage to it becaue it is WONDERFUL.
