About this Cook
Love to experiment with cooking, love to cook for others, for just me I am happy with tomato soup and grilled cheese!
My favorite things to cook
Really into baking right now, trying to lower calories and fat content, mixing new ingredients, and generally doing everything my mom has told me not to do while baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year my mom, brother, and I get together and bake Christmas cookies, in recent years dad has joined in the fun as well!
My cooking triumphs
Experimenting with apple sauce in a receipe for raspberry bars, the consisteny was not right to line the pan, but it looked like cookie dough, so i made them into jelly cookies instead! amazing and everyone loved them!
My cooking tragedies
Peanut butter cookies with walden farms 0-cal peanut butter, and applesauce substitue for butter turned into peanut butter muffin tops. might try it again using the 3 ingredient flourless recipe!

Basic Biscuits
this recipe is great, but to make it AMAZING use cake flour (i use ww flour, so cake ww flour just makes them less dense- am sure white all purpose would work well too) and equal parts of butter (in place of shortening) and sour cream (in place of milk). it is an old betty crocker recipe, and yummy!
