These cookies taste SO good. Making heart shapes to take into the classroom tomorrow for Vday, but I'm afraid my family is going to eat them all before morning! I made it exactly as written, I roll mine kind of thin so that I get a higher yield, but know that they will be golden brown in about 5 minutes, so be careful not to burn them, 6 minutes was actually too long for my oven. I make my icing with 4 teaspoons light corn syrup, 4 teaspoons milk, and 2 cups confectioners sugar, then add color. The finish is a bit shinier with the corn syrup in the icing mix. BIG kudos on the recipe, it's a winner and a keeper!
