Coconut-Curry Lentil Stew Served over Quinoa

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2014
Made it. Really liked it! I've never made a dish like this before. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was! I only made half the amount of quinoa that the recipe said and it was plenty. I did not have coconut powder, as many other reviewers stated, and it was good without it.

Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2014
Two words describe this banana bread,...Yum- my!! I substituted the pecans (which I didn't have) for chocolate chips (which I did have) and it was delicious! I needed to bake it about 15-20 minutes longer than the recipe states, but that just made a nice crunchy top!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2013
Great recipe! I substituted 3/4 cup of coconut oil instead of butter. My fussy husband couldn't tell and loved them:)

Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2013
I made this a few weeks ago and have come back to safe the recipe so I can make it again. I was delicious! I did add more water to the crock pot. At least a cup during the cooking process. I also omitted the onions as I thought the tastes would be over powered by it. Very easy and very good.

Very good cookies! Easy to make. I didn't have rolled oats so I used quick oats and they were still yummy:)

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
My grandmother makes the best apple pie ever! I didnt think I could ever like anyone elses recipe, until now! This recipe is quick and easy and my kids love it! The only thing missing is a homemade crust, but pillsbury makes a great one so it saves me from having to!

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
Very good recipe! It was easy to make and a big hit! I did take the advice of some of the other reviewers. I doubled the butter and oil and added 1/2 cup of heavy cream and 1/4 cup of the "dredge" flour at the end to make a sauce for pasta. I also crushed one glove of garlic and added it also, with some extra salt. I will definitely make this again:)

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: May 14, 2011
Very good! Making the cake from scatch was much easier than I thought. It was alittle soupy so next time I think I'll use less regular milk.

Shepherd's Pie Complete

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2011
I am not a fan of Shepherd's pie, but sought a recipe because my husband, who is fussy, likes it. This recipe was GREAT! It was simple and tasty and even "I" liked it! I took the advice of others and only used 2 cans of gravy. I also drained at least 1/2 of the fat while cooking the meat because Shepherd's pie tends to be greasy. I will definitely make it again.

Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
Great recipe. I made it just the way it was written. I did need to bake it almost twice the amount of time as stated. I'm not sure why being that I'm not in a high altitude and have a fairly new oven.

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
Just made this and am waiting for it to cool! I took a taste off of the top and can tell you that it's Delicious!!! (Yes, that's a capital D!). My only issues is it looks alittle runny and I was hoping for more creamy, but it tastes good, so who cares:) UPDATE*** I stand corrected!! It was not runny at all! I made no modifications EXCEPT that I used more cheese (about 1 cup of the cheddars and muester). I forgot to buy monteray jack, but will add it next time.

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2010
I used two less eggs, left out the milk and added 1/2 cup of buttermilk and it was OUTRAGEOUS!!! This is the second time I made it. The first time I followed the recipe, but took the advice of some of the reviewers and used less milk. It was still too soupy. Leave out the milk and use less eggs and you would be fine. Great idea and very tasty:)

Slow Cooker Lime Chicken with Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2010
I'm sorry but I have to agree with those that said this dish was bland and dry. I even added an onion, as someone suggested. I usually use these recipes as a guide and then add my own extras. But in this case, it was something I never made before, so I obeyed the recipe. But thanks anyway:)
