Cream of Green Garlic and Potato Soup
this is incredible soup!!! I am eating it right now and couldn't be happier!!! :D I know as written it deserves 5 stars, but I made some changes. I used green onions and a 1/4 of leftover white onion diced. I used 3 pieces of bacon chopped. I only used 2 and a half potatoes, but they were really big. I added roughly 2 teaspoons of cayenne because I like things spicy. I used a little more than half a cup of cream because I love it. I used lots of freshly ground black pepper and instead of chicken broth I just used salted and seasoned water. I am glad I left out the extra potato!! this is plenty thick, creamy, and delicious. Also, I only blended 3/4 of the chunks and used a masher on the others.. This is like heaven soup :) I will definitely make this again!!! it has so many possibilities!! Thank you chef John!! your video for this recipe is very funnily narrated :)

Classic Hash Browns
these were great! I added some onion. The paprika and cayenne was nice, and I added a teeeeny bit of curry powder. I will definitely make these again!

Spring Lime Tea Cookies
I took off a star because this needs way more lime juice in the batter. I used the juice of 1 and 1/2 limes. I used coconut milk because I don't like regular. Mine needed about 1/2 cup more flour, and it was still a very soft dough. I should have added more. I think you should chill this dough first. I am eating one now!! they are big and soft. With the glaze, they are wonderful!!! I followed the recipe with white sugar and lime juice. I will make again for sure!! I made these to go with some lime green tea :) **Edited about a week or so later.. This time I added less milk and mostly lime juice. I also added some nutmeg, per another reviewer and it highlights the lime nicely! I chilled the dough this time and it made it so much easier to roll attractive balls rather than gooey blobs. These need longer than 10 minutes (for me).. more like 15-20. So delicious! This time I also used half coconut oil and half butter cause I ran out of butter. I think it made them softer!
