Glazed Dijon Carrots

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
this is so delicious!! I've made it two times now. I only use 2 TBSP of butter to cut down on fat, and it's still turned out great!

Rockin' Salsa

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
I have made this 2 years in a row with fresh tomatoes from my garden. 2 batches last year and 2 batches this year. It turned out awesome all 4 times. Sometimes I use all yellow onions because that's what I have on hand more often. I've also used different types of peppers. It always turns out great!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
Awesome chili! This is the best chili recipe I've ever made. Easy to make and has a lot of taste. I only use 1 pound of ground beef otherwise follow the recipe as written.

Campbell's® 15-Minute Chicken and Rice Dinner

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
Like others, we thought the chicken was bland tasting. However, the rice tasted great. Since this recipe is so quick and easy, I will make it again but follow some of the other suggestions to season up the chicken.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2012
These turned out delicious and do taste a lot like that "famous seafood restaurant." This will definately be my go-to biscuit recipe as they will go with so many different main dishes. I usually halve the recipe when I make it for my family of four.

Egg Salad I

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2012
I didn't really care for this egg salad. We did eat it though, it wasn't so bad we had to throw it away. Maybe it was the dill in it. Although I like dill in other recipes. I used more mayo then the recipe called for. The paprika mixed in does not give it a very appealing color either.

Mom's Applesauce Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2012
This was pretty good. A nice change from regular pancakes. Easy to make and I think the cinnamon gives it good taste.

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2012
The French fried onions really make this recipe! My reason for a four star review instead of five, since I did think this was a quite tasty tuna casserole, is because I thought it was a little dry. I will probably add another can of cream soup next time. I also added peas to the recipe. I ate left overs of this 2 days later and it was even more dry and the french fried onions were soggy. It wasn't really a good "left-overs" meal.

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
These veggies are so delicious! However, they are tedious to make with having to chop all the veggies. And squash is not easy to cut! It all paid off in the end when I tasted these delicious veggies. I used russet potatoes and lemon juice instead of balsamic vinegar since I had those items on hand. I also used dried seasonings since I had those on hand also. I can imagine the taste would be even more delicious if using fresh seasonings. This recipe is definately a keeper!

Slow Cooker Pork Chops II

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
These chops have good taste and are easy to make. The pork chops we get usually have the bone in so that's what I use. Other reviews have said they cut down on the oil so I may do that next time. I think they'll come out just as good.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
I enjoyed how easy this recipe is but I thought the potatoes turned out pretty bland. I followed the recipe as written and used sharp chedder cheese. It needs some seasonings I think. My husband thought they were just fine though. I think I'll look for a different au gratin potatoes recipe and if I don't find anything else decent, I'll come back to this one and try to spice it up.

Weeknight Ravioli Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
Very tasty and easy recipe! My husband and daughter were not crazy about the diced tomatoes, next time I will get petite diced so maybe they won't notice. I also thought this was a little watery so maybe next time I will decrease the amount of water. But I will definately make this again!

Quick Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
This was very good! The chicken came out very moist. I wanted to add some extra seasoning because some times I think chicken comes out bland, but I forgot. I'm glad I didn't because the chicken had great taste with just the sauce and cheeses. Maybe it was the pasta sauce I used (not Prego....sorry...I used what I had on hand.) I will definately be making this again!

Ham and Cheese Crescent Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
Easy lunch/meal for kids. Just add a fruit or veggie on the side. I've made these twice using ham & american cheese and ham & cheddar cheese. These are very versatile since you could use any meat/cheese combination you wanted. Cook on one of the top racks of your oven or the bottoms will get burned. Also go light on the cheese or it will melt out of the crescents and make a mess on your baking sheet.

Make-Ahead Unstuffed Shells

Reviewed: May 5, 2012
Delicious recipe! Even my some what picky kids ate it and one of them asked for seconds! I used dried basil instead of fresh. I'm not sure how much I used but I'd estimate maybe a tablespoon to 1.5 tablespoons. I originally found this recipe on the kraft website. The recipe is pretty much the same except on the kraft website they want you to use a 10oz tub of Philadelphia original cooking creme. I add more pasta sauce too. The jars I get are 24-26 oz and I use the whole thing.

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
Very good macaroni salad. I read the reviews before I made it and did decrease the sugar by half. It tasted great like that. The green peppers and onions also gave it a good crunch.

French Dip Sandwiches

Pretty tasty! I toasted some French bread and added some provolone cheese. It was done after about 8 hours. I also added a few more peppercorns then the recipe called for.

Easy Baked Tilapia

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2012
I wasn't really a big fan of this. I thought it was somewhat bland tasting even though I followed the reviews and liberally seasoned the tilapia with old bay and garlic salt. I've definately made better seasoned tilapia before. I would have rated it lower but surprisingly my husband and children both liked this recipe. So maybe it was just me. I think I like stronger tastes.

Cheese's Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2013
Everyone in the house liked this recipe. I'll probably change two things about it next time I make it. Maybe add some more milk because it was a little thick and leave out the bread crumbs because I didn't really care for them. Otherwise the recipe is a keeper!
