Lime Gelatin Salad I

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
Very good. Fist time making I thought the prep directions were more than needed to do. So the second time I made it, I dissolved the jello in the hot water, added the cream cheese and beat with mixer. Added the pineapple with juice, and 1/2 cup pecan pieces. Then I folded in the whipped whipping cream. This way it was more simple to prepare and came out great!

Cherry Pineapple Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
Very good. I didn't let the jello set somewhat before I added the fruit! (NO NEED TO). Just add the fruit to the divided jello as indicated. This recipe indicates that it is ready in 20 minutes. It takes awhile for the first layer to set before you can even put the cream cheese layer on. then you add the final layer which then needs to set for 3 hours. My family liked this. We make a similar one with strawberries. And the cherry was a delightful change. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Thin Mint Crackers

Very Good!!!! And fun to make. NEXT TIME, I will put a half a bar of candy wax to the pound of chocolate so that they don't melt in your hand when you go to eat them. And I suggest for everyone else to do the same. :)

Marmalade Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
Loved the the taste of orange zest from the marmalade. The marmalade does render down to liquid along with the pork juices making the pork on the dryer side. But this does have a good orange flavor. I did as suggested and used 1/4 cup of soy. Just right. With the liquid left in the roasting pan, put it in a pot and make gravy out of it for spooning over the pork chops and mashed potatoes.
