Not, too bad... I do hate when people don't make the recipe the way it's written but I had to change it up a notch.. for a lb of pasta I did 1/2 lb bacon... NO Olive oil. 2 garlic cloves grated 1 small onion, pepper, a large tomato, about a cup of parm cheese. I cooked the bacon, then at almost crisp stage I added the onion, cooked a few, then added the tomato... garlic. and 1/4 tsp or so of pepper. Once all cooked put it on all pasta, added all the pan drippings as well. there was not a ton ton of bacon grease so I did NOT drain it. add all the cheese and a pinch of salt and a dash more of pepper.. I thought it had great flavor and I am picky, I dont like tomato or onions but tried something new..It def needs more then what the main recipe calls for. My husband said it was good but needed some peas in it and serve it as a cold side dish.
