Reviewed: May 2, 2010
YUM is all I can say (well, also that it is super easy and I had most of the ingredients on hand!)

Mango-Strawberry Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2010
One of the two mangos I used was tart and it made the batch too tart with the lemon juice. Once I added another, sweeter mango and a little sugar it was really good. Would use this over plain grilled chicken too. Great with the suggested cinnamon pita chips.

Soft Mahi Mahi Tacos with Ginger-Lime Dressing

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2010
Had to make w/o pineapple due to allergies- so used fresh strawberries instead. Salsa was good, but the overall dish was not to my or my familys liking.- Very bland. I will not make again.

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2010
Delicious. I made 1 1/2 times the crust recipe, cut the sugar by 1/4 cup and used blueberries. Next time I will cut the sugar more as it was a bit too sweet for us, but a great, easy recipe.

Chicken with Quinoa and Veggies

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2010
Yum. Made as directed with the exception of garlic scapes, which no one in my area markets ever hear of. Used garlic instead. Quick, easy, affordable and absolutely delicious. Will serve to company.

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2010
I diced he onion very small, as someone else suggested, and omitted the pepper flakes, added minced garlic instead of garlic salt. Did add 2 dashes of hot sauce. Next time I will combine the milk and breadcrumbs before adding to meat, as I thought the crumbs imparted a bit of a grainy texture. Used 1/2 turkey and 1/2 beef. All in all, would make again.

Really tasty. I cut the mayo mixture in half, and it still turned out delicious!

Easy Guacamole

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2010
Put the pit back into the finished Guac until you are ready to serve. Helps keep it from discoloring. I've been making this recipe for ever, and am well known for it. Might have to make a batch right now. yum

Sorry, thought this was bland and way too heavy despite using light cream. Will not make again.

Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2010
This is a great , lo cal treat if you make it with sugar substitute. I used a bit more pumpkin spice and vanilla, and light cream mixed with 1% milk (all had in the house.) My 13 yr old Starbucks fan couldn't tell the difference, and it saved over $3!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2010
I made this for my co-workers to rave reviews. Added vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg as suggested by other reviewers. Did the lattice top. Used 4 granny smith and 4 gala apples. Baked at 350 for over an hour - because I like the apples soft. A bit of the sauce dripped onto the lattice, but was fine. Put aluminum foil on btm of oven and under the glass pie pan. Y U M.

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
Really good! Note to Sabrina, yes, you can use Puff Pastry, just be careful it doesn't burn. As other reviewers have mentioned, I have changed the fillings (ham, cheese and broccoli; chopped steak, mushrooms and grilled onions; and veggie version with grilled veggies).Yum.

Rice Pudding

This never "jelled" for me. I think it needs more rice or less liquid. Very disappointing.

Italian Turkey Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
Fantastic- but make sure you use FRESH herbs and chop the rosemary very finely or you will have porcupine-y meatballs. I don't use MELT, but do use a combo of olive oil and butter on the broiler pan.
