Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2012
This is a winner for any get together. I layer it in a truffle dish as shown on the pic and make one healthier revision. Instead of sugar I replaced the sugar with sugar-free banana pudding .(unprepared!). I also couldn't find strawberry glaze so used a can of strawberry pie filling. Delicious.

Date Nut Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2011
I've made this for years during the holidays. I split the sugars; half white and half brown sugar. I grease good sized vegetable cans; bake; cool and wrap in tin foil with curly ribbons on each end for a nice personal gift.

Banana Bread French Toast

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
I love french toast bakes for convenience when having company so I made this the night before and backed in the oven; it worked out well. I also didn't have any condenced milk but I usually use what ever flavored Coffeemate or Int'l Delight I have in the fridge and the flavors were fantastic!

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
I've been making this recipe for several years and is always a favorite; great when you have guests. Only change I make is to roll the breast in Stove Top stuffing mixed with a little butter; use either chicken or wild rice stuffing when I can find it. I also buy a small boneless ham or turkey ham and use thicker slices then luncheon meat. Sometimes if it's not rolling right for me I just lay the chicken breast flat, put the ham and cheese on, cover with cream of mushroom soup and always have some extra stuffing to sprinkle on the top.

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
This is a great base for the imagination. It was delicious as is and opened the door for some creativity as well. I had some International Delight hazelnut creamer for my coffee and it was getting close to expiration so I used in place of some milk. I've also made it with half and half. I like the bagel idea and will try that. It's always great to see others' suggestions.

Special Lemonade

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2010
Once this recipe was finished it tasted really good but... needed to be strained again before drinking. Took too long for the end result.
