Blue Cheese Appetizer Tart

Instead of messing with making my own pastry dough I used phyllo dough, which was an adventure...next time puff pastry! But the filling was delicious! It's very savory and bleu cheesy and was a huge hit with our guests. I also swapped out the pine nuts for slivered almonds (last minute error, I forgot to get the pine nuts!)

Oven Pancakes

My husband adores german pancakes, andhe loved this recipe. I hate eggs and I really liked it, too. It was more like a bread pudding, next time I will probably split it between two cake pans and see how that turns out. I preferred it with some vanilla, and then sprinkled liberally with lemon juice and powdered sugar. Yum!

Mom's Curried Fruit

I was leary becuase I am not a curry fan, but I was trying this for my husband who is. I was so surprised! It smelled good while it cooked and the sweetness really brings out the different flavors in the curry, it was really good. I might take this to my mom's for Thanksgiving!
