Working full time, with an 11-year-old son, who fortunately is very open to trying new things. I'm always looking for quick but flavourful meal ideas that I can whip up after getting home from work. I'll use some convenience foods, but at least part of the meal has to be from scratch.
My favorite things to cook
My specialty is a full Greek-style dinner - souvlaki, rice pilaf, roasted potatoes, Greek salad, tsatziki and hummus. I love to make soup, as it has so much room for improvisation. On the other hand, I don't really enjoy baking, though I do try to make muffins or quick breads every week for school lunches.
