About this Cook
I am a mama of two beautiful kiddo's. My 7yr old son is extremely picky, he will take notice of any seasoning that is in anything I make and will decide he doesn't like it. My 2yr old daughter would live off beans if we let her. She is a great veggie eater, working on the other stuff. I love fish, husband hates it. We ALL LOVE Chocolate!!
My favorite things to cook
I love to experiment with cooking. ALWAYS a PLUS when it turns out good. Husband will eat pretty much anything I put in front of him as long as it's not fish and usually goes back for seconds and if able will take leftovers for lunch. He's the best!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas for Breakfast we make a Sour Cream Coffee Cake with Cherries, Blueberries, or Mixed Berries as the topping. Yumm Also every Birthday the Birthday boy or girl gets whatever meal they ask for cooked for them. One yr when I was a teen my momma made me Thanksgiving dinner for my birthday in August.
My cooking triumphs
To be able to cook something that I want and not have my son complain about what is in it and what he doesn't like about it without even trying it.

Fluffy Pancakes
I would love to rate it on the actual recipe but I am not able. I chose to add 1 tsp vanilla and some cinnamon. Didn't measure the cinnamon. But the outline of the recipe was great. I had to double the batch because it just wasn't enough for my family. This though has become a family favorite!! I will NEVER buy boxed again.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies I
Since I did change it a bit I am not sure what the original cookies taste like but with my adjustments these are YUMMY!! My 2 yr old and I made these just for fun and they turned out great. Taking suggestions from previous reviews I only put in 1/2 tsp of salt and added 1 tsp of cinnamon along with 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Great for mama and kiddo recipe to do together and believe me the 7 dozen it does make won't last 2 days around here.

Seattle Dutch Babies
My son Loves these! I usually make something similar to this which I got out of a just for kids cookbook that I've had since I was 10 and it tasted pretty much the same. This was good but there is NEVER enough, which is the same issue I had with the other recipe. I will give these another try and hope for thicker and if not I will just go back to my kids cookbook.
