About this Cook
I love to cook home cooked meals for my family. I hate to buy boxed dinners because you never know what kind of stuff is really in them. I love to expose my family to new things and hate cooking the same thing all the time.
My favorite things to cook
I love making desserts and pizzas! I love to cook in the crockpot too.
My cooking triumphs
I make a really awesome pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.

Golden Chocolate Chip Cookies
these were just okay. i was looking for a light, moist cookie. they are moist out of the oven but after they cool, they lose it and they seem to lose a bit of flavor. also, after they cooled on the sheet they stuck to the sheet so the next batch i used cooking spray and it worked a bit better. i also added almond extract instead of vanilla and that seemed to help the flavor a lot. overall, these were okay, not what i was expecting.

Eggnog Cookies II
i had to add a lot of spices to give it flavor. i used pumpkin spice eggnog, add 3/4 tsp nutmeg, sprinkled pupkin pie spice and all spice, 1 tsp vanilla. i also add spices to the frosting, i don't like the overly sweet taste of powder sugar so i added all spice, cloves, nutmeg, and pumpkin pie spice. it's an okay recipe.....not a favorite but i will probably make again.
