White Bread For The Bread Machine

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2013
Very simple yet very delicious! I've made it as the recipe is only baked in the oven. I've also made it with all purpose flour when I was out of bread flour with good results. Recently I've started adding in things (the other comments really have great ideas). Today I did olive oil instead of veg and Italian seasoning and it looks and smells amazing. Next I thinking I'll do garlic and cheese. So not only is it great just the way it is but it makes a great starting point for other breads.

Pork Chops with Tomatoes and String Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
Very yummy. I noticed a few people asking why reserve the green bean juice, saying they didn't see what to do with it. The recipe states: "Boil the reserved cooking liquid in the skillet and stir the browned bits until dissolved". I take "reserved cooking liquid" to mean the bean juice. ;)

Fresh Mint and Cilantro Melon Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2010
Very yummy! I added cantaloupe chunks and blueberries. It was very good but the lime, cilantro, and mint go really, really well with the honeydew. I will make this again.

Perfect Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
I've made this cake twice now. The first time it looked like a disaster but it tasted oh so good! This time around I only made two layers and it turned out much better (in looks.that was the only thing wrong with the first cake -totally my fault). I always end up putting in a bit of cream into the frosting while I'm mixing it up because otherwise I just don't see how it would work. Even with that it's still quite thick and hard to spread but it's sooo rich and chocolatey. It goes great with the cake and whipped cream! I see another reviewer said they use milk...I'll have to try that next time. Other than those two minor changes, I follow the recipe exactly.
