Grammy's Easy Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
I love this recipe & in fact, I thought my Grandmother was the only one who made this simple, yummy cobbler. I actually thought she made it up cause it seems to good to be true! It is like the dump cake style we use in the dutch ovens when we go on a pack trip. If your in doubt, just try it! The only thing my family does different is add 2 tablespoons of instant tapioca to the berries to thicken them up a bit.

Ranch Bean Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2011
I really like how simple this is and how addictive! Made this last weekend for a birthday bbq and it went very quickly! They guys were hovering around the table refilling their plates every couple of minutes. However, I used a 32 ounce can of refried beans with only one package of ranch dip and added some diced canned jalapenos. Delish!

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2011
I made this last weekend for a birthday bbq. I made mine in an iced tea jug the night before adding everything but the optional carbonated portion. Then I took 6 ice cube trays and dispensed half of the mixture into the trays. The following morning, I popped the frozen cubes back into the tea jug, added a can of sprite and gave it a stir! It was very yummy but I do have one complaint. While I was inside getting all the food ready to serve, it disappeared! I only got to have one glass :( Will be making often this summer! Thank you

Ranch Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2011
I made these last weekend for a birthday bbq. I decided to do everything in my smaller crock pot and let them cook on low over night. They were very good, however I did not have any marjoram. I used red onion and 4 diced jalapenos for some extra flavor. Everyone complimented so I guess that they were a hit!

Pseudo Sourdough for the Bread Machine

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
This bread was the best recipe I have ever made in my bread machine! It turned out beautiful and most importantly, delish! I didn't have barley flour so I used wheat in it's place. Otherwise I followed the recipe. I did customize it by slicing 6 cloves of garlic, saut├ęd it in a tablespoon olive oil & added in during the second kneading cycle! Yummy!

Lyn's Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
We really enjoyed this recipe. I loved how easy & quick it is to throw together. I used chicken breast tenders, sprinkled with a little garlic salt. The mushrooms I cooked with a tablespoon of butter, then added a clove of minced garlic. When they were tender, I added parmesan cheese. Then once I added the mushrooms to the chicken, I used colby jack cheese. Great taste for so few ingredients! I will be making this on my late work nights!
