It's 7am and I have already been to wal-mart an picked up my last few items, was up until 11 finishing all my pies and one marvelous looking cheesecake, I will be heading to my sisters in 15 minutes to start the turkey an ham we are having for our christmas eve dinner along with all the other goodies we decided to make, I just want to thank all the people for whom I have come to know since I joined this wonderful site, it has opened up a new world for me an my family I have learned so much an am so thankful for all the upcoming traditions we will now have. There is nothing like hearing "ohhh are you gonna make" " oh please make this" " This is going to be so good" does wonders for my heart, as I sit here drinking my coffee I look at my wall which is covered with christmas card wishes from family an friends......this includes the beautiful cards that  I received in the christmas card exchange here on all recipe I had a blast sending the cards off an always had a huge smile when I received one so for all of you I wish you a very merry christmas an the best of new year an thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the help an laughs along the way and for helping me bring what is left of our seperated family together whether you know it or not you will always be how my holiday dinners an gathering tradtions started. so I leave you with this...Expect little give lots love endless and laugh uncontrolably.

Gerri...I am a certified executive chef out to pasture with traditional French training and 35 years of experience...If I can ever help you with a Culinary Problem please let me know...I was called back into the industry for a year and a half at a country club in Spring Hill,FL by a resume I had unknowingly left on the internet. I took the "Too Good To Pass Up Offer" and worked another year and a half at the location. I found out that most Chefs, even culinary graduates ,think that they are above the basics of the traditional French Standards and the rules of Chefs who contributed to the "Sauce Bible" and "The Encyclopedia of Creative Cooking & The Food Lover's Companion." You can be eclectic, but you can't bastardize the basics...If you have a problem with conflict in culinary execution please contact me at ccrandy@yahoo.com--I will give you the standard set by the "Old School" and what is now what is thought to be "BETTER" by pretenders...Executive Chef Charles Daniels
