Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
This salad is amazing! I made it this Thanksgiving and all of my family loved it and asked for the recipe! I did follow one of the reviews and used pine nuts (toasted) in place of almonds. Everyone really enjoyed it. I used spinach that you can buy in a bag that is already washed and cut and made the dressing and toasted the pine nuts the night before. I placed the cranberries and nuts in separate ziploc bags, had the dressing in a plasic drizzle bottle (not sure what the exact name of those are, I bought them at Michaels by the candy making products), and had my bag of spinach. I brought it all to the dinner and threw it together in about 1 minute. Talk about easy. I did find that the recipe for the dressing can be used for two bags of pre-washed, pre-cut spinach.

Microwave Lemon Curd

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
This recipe is very easy to follow and turned out great for me. However, I was planning on using it as a filling for a cake and it was a much to thin. It turned out more like a ribbon of filling instead of the thick, lemony curd I was hoping for. But with that said, it tasted delicious and to make up for the thin filling, I decorated the plate with some drizzles of the lemond curd before I placed the cake down, so everyone would get a nice taste. Everyone that sampled the cake really enjoyed it and said how great the lemon curd was. Thanks for the recipe---I will definitely use again on other projects!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
This recipe was delicious! It has a very classic taste and my husband and I loved it with our Christmas dinner this year! My oven was being used all day so I just layered this all in my crock pot and cooked it on high for one hour and on low for about three--so easy! Will definitely make again! Thanks!

Turkey Tenderloins

Reviewed: May 23, 2013
Just made this and it turned out perfectly! I purchased the turkey tenderloins that come in a plastic wrapper at Target and there were two pieces in there. I made the recipe without rosemary and added poultry seasoning, as many reviewers suggested. Marinated for 4 hours and then cooked in the broiler. Took about 25 minutes total (I turned once during cooking, putting my meat thermometer in at that time). Was a hit with my husband and father in law.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2013
Great! Made a couple small changes and loved it. Used all whole wheat flour, about 6 T of butter (will play around with applesauce next time as some people have mentioned), only 1/2 cup sugar, light sour cream and added in some dark chocolate chips. Mixed as directed and poured into the sprayed pan and then sprinkled a fair amount cinnamon and nutmeg on top to cover. Baked as directed, 350 for 60 minutes and it was perfectly done. I use a full size loaf pan from Pampered Chef and it cooked great. Will use this recipe again!
