Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
I love this recipe! It is the one off the back of the kraft jar. The difference with this one is the full cup of sugar...kraft had only 1/2 cup listed. I made a low fat version. I used kraft whipped peanut butter (on 70 cal per tbsp) 1/2 cup sugar and 2 egg whites instead of the whole egg. I also sprinkled a lil flour in the batter so it wasnt as sticky and I could put it on the cookie sheet. I presses them flat with a fork and cooked for 15 mins. These were YUMMM!!! The whole family gobbled them up and couldnt believe they were low fat! YUM YUM YUM!

Easy Salsa Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
I am always looking for different meatloaf recipes...gives me ideas on what I can put into a meatloaf. I loved this recipe! I used ground turkey and egg whites. I also didnt use the cheese. But I added garlic power instead of the cloves and onion powder and used spicy salsa. I also put in some grated parmesan cheese. YUM! Thanks for the salsa idea!

Almost No Fat Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
I am only giving this 4 stars because I changed the recipe. I used whole wheat flour for half the amount of flour. Added a tsp of vanilla, 1/4 tsp of salt, 1 tsp cinnamon and used some brown sugar in place of the white sugar. I used two different bowls one for wet items and another with dry items then combined them. My recipe turned out awesome! So moist and not chewy like at all. Everyone loved it!

Egg-Free Low-Fat Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
I made these last night and was not very happy with the outcome. I got my mom to try one and she said they were ok (I think she was afraid to hurt my feelings because I saw her later give it to the dog) I tossed the rest of the batch..not very good at all:(

Wonderful Yogurt Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
I loved this recipe with a few adjustments. I used 1/2 cup of unsweet apple sauce instead of butter ( I am a health nut) Used 2/3 cup of white sugar not brown, 2 egg whites and 1 and a half cups of zero fat free yogurt. I used vanilla, strawberry, raspberry, and field berry. End result was amazing! My family really liked it as well and they are not the best of eaters lmao. One tip if u decide to use applesauce keep an eye on the cake as the middle doesnt cook as fast so half way through the baking I covered the cake with foil. It took longer for the cake to bake but boy was it moist and yummy!

No-Noodle Zucchini Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2010
This was a very goood lasagna, would have given it 5 stars but it was a little to watery ( I didnt add any extra water and it was still a lil runny) I let it sit for 15 mins after it came from the oven and that seemed to help...I personally dont mind a lil juice since I like to soak my bread in it!

Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2010
I made these this morning. YUMMY! I put a little wheat germ in it and used egg whites instead of a whole egg. Added alot more blueberries ( I adore them) I also used the tips on this site. I beat the egg whites till stiff then mix it in with the batter and put the batter in the fridge for 3 hours...end result: light fluffy on the inside crispy outside just how I like it!

WOW! Very good!! Made it with strawberries and blackberries because that's all I had in the fridge. I served it at my bbq there was one piece left over, but only because I took it for myself for the next day!
