Fish Siracusa

This is a tomato based sauce with celery and onions. My family and i deeply enjoyed the sauce but we all agreed that we are not fans of swordfish. The swordfish was cooked and seasoned perfectly not over or under cooked. It just has to do with the density of the fish. It repels the sauce and has texture somewhere between tuna and cod fish. I would defiantly make this again but with either halibut or Chilean sea bass.

Swiss Parmesan Baked Halibut

I made this for my wife and I. We really enjoyed the smoky flavor of the Swiss cheese. I made this almost exact to the instructions of the recipe. The only change I made was the paprika. I added a very light dusting of smoked paprika since I had only smoked or hot, and I added it prior to the baking. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys fish. This recipe went well with asparagus and baked pumpkin. We also found it was complemented with a nice white chardonnay wine.

The last time The last time I made this I didn't have the cherries so I used some Grand Marnier in place and it worked very well. Just use the Grand Marnier to de glaze.

The recipe is perfect. Before I found this recipe I burned it twice. Thanks to Bambam , Mrs,J. Baking Nana and all others Who directed me to this delightful recipe I was able to impressed my dinner party last night. It was a splash everybody asked for the recipe.

Meat Bolognese w/Linguine! This is an excellent recipe. I made no changes Except! I know you knew there would be an except in there! The only change I made was in the method of cooking. I first rendered the sausage meat in the same pot as I sauteed the veggies in. My family and I enjoyed this and we will make this again. Thanks Candice!!!

Steak a la Piziolo (Pizziola or Pizzaiola) with Linguini

I made this with some slit changes in the way it was cooked. I browned the meat in the same pot I sauteed the onion and garlic in. And instead of cooking it in the oven. I did it on the stove low and slow. This was delightful in flavor and a dish I have not had since 1989. It brought back memories of a different time and place. My two sons and my wife licked their fingers and dipped there Italian bread I served with it in the sauce. I highly recommend this recipe to try.

Grilled Gorgonzola Flat Irons

My family and I enjoyed this recipe. I did not have flat Iron steak but the porterhouse I used was a perfect vessel. The saltiness of the Gorgonzola is a wonderful contrast to the dry rub. I cant say I followed the recipe to the T but I was close. I didn't make the dry rub and apply it but, I added each ingredient to the each steak individually. Nor did I measure the Gorgonzola cheese again I treated each steak individually. Thank you for this wonderful idea of Gorgonzola cheese and steak!

Fried Mushrooms with Feta Cheese Sauce

I made this recipe as a side dish with My Fillet Mignon Bruscany recipe. I found it to be a perfect match with my steak. The saltiness of the feta was tantalizing to the pallet against mild flavor of the steak. I highly recommend this as a great side dish for steak.

Pumpkin Risotto

I made this almost exactly to the instruction. I used homemade chicken stock instead of cubes and added a little s&p to adjust for the cubes. I love pumpkin and found this to be a delightful recipe. I thank you for sharing it!!!

chicken delight

I made this recipe this past weekend and my family and I enjoyed it very much. I used some wonderful shallots I had and at the end topped it with a mixture of chopped fresh herbs from my backyard to finish it. The final result had my family licking their fingers and insisting I will make this again. Thank you cheerios for sharing your recipe I highly recommend it!!

Thank you Allie and a special thanks to your Naunie for this special recipe. I had some Riggati pasta I used for this and followed the chefs instruction almost to the T. The only difference I did was I used Locatelli Pecorino Romano cheese. I found this delightful and my family as well. This will be a recipe I make again and again. Thanks Allie for sharing a old family recipe .

Delicious Apple Martini

I tried this martini with my wife last evening.I personally still enjoy my martinis with just the vermouth in and out 3 or 4 olives and either gin or vodka. On the other hand my wife really enjoyed this a lot and I will be making this for her again.

24 Hour Roast Pork

I made my Pork Shoulder with my recipe using this 24 hour slow roast method with a bit of skepticism. Although I have used this 225 degree method in the past I have never tried it for 24 hours. I must say I will never slow roast my Pork Shoulder any other way. It came out absolutely perfect thank you lisa for this enlightening method of a perfect roast.
