The Best Parmesan Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2012
This was very good. Made it with chicken tenders as others suggested and used dry basil (1 TBLS) instead of fresh. Baked 30 minutes, then added the 2nd layer of cheeses and croutons. continued baking till cheese was bubbly and croutons slightly browned. Served on top of angle hair pasta. Very yummy, hubby really liked so have put it in my favorite file. Thanks Chef John :)

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2012
Very, very good. Like some others I added chopped onion to the sausage and garlic as it was browning. Also as others commented this recipe is easy to change up using what's on hand and it still comes out delicious. I've added pasta, potato, changed the beans and have used cabbage in place of spinach. All good!

Roasted Asparagus with Herbes de Provence

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2012
Wonderful change from steamed asparagus. Made as directed except cut back a bit on the olive oil as I used a well seasoned baking stone to roast. Is also great the next day as a cold side dish.

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2012
Wonderful. My husband loved it. I did not have Italian bread crumbs so I used Panko crumbs and sprinkled a little oregano and basil on top. Also because we do watch our fat intake I reduced the melted butter to 2 tablespoons. This will be made often in our household.

Stuffed Pork Chops with Gorgonzola and Apple

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
Wonderful. My husband loved it. Braised the stuffed chops as 1 reviewer suggested and reduced baking time by about 20 -25 minutes. Juicy and yummy. I did not have any trouble getting the sauce to reduce and did not find this recipe to be time consuming as one reviewre stated.
