Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
This is one of the best slow cooker recipes! I used the bbq sauce recipe from the Barbecue Ribs By: SEEsign on here. It's my favorite bbq sauce for every type of meat. The overall flavor of the meat was complex and delicious. Thank you!

Okay flavor. I like panko or homemade bread crumbs better.

These were certainly tasty, with the extra seasoning I added (Lawry's), however they didn't crisp up like I expected.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2010
These biscuits were very tasty. I made similar changes according to some of the reviews: buttermilk instead of milk and 2 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. baking soda. Although I tried to limit the "handling" of the biscuits, they didn't come out as fluffy as I would have liked. I always use organic whole wheat pastry flour when I bake, so perhaps next time I'll sift the flour to add a little more air. Still, a GREAT recipe and one that I will continue to use!

Great recipe with simple, real ingredients. We've used this recipe with chicken wings as well and they've turned out amazing.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2010
A very rich fudgy brownie. I wasn't disappointed in this recipe at all. Only changes I made were to use Dove Dark Chocolate Promises (chopped up) in place of the chocolate chips and used 1/2 sugar and 1/2 Stevia (cuts down on calories and has less effect on insulin levels). I will be making these again - that's for sure!

Parmesan Chicken

Very tasty - followed the advice of baking it in the oven, adding more spices, and adding the melted butter to the breading mixture. Instead of bread crumbs, I used Panko flakes.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
The best tasting cornbread I've had in a Long time! I also used a skillet to bake the bread in and mine took only 21 minutes. One other change - I used 1/3 cup of sugar and just over a Tbsp. of white Stevia powder (an all natural, zero calorie sweetener).
