Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
This was good and easy to make..the sauce is super flavorful..and I agree with another's post that it almost tastes like a cheese sauce but there's no cheese! Definitely a go to recipe for when chicken breasts are on sale!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
These cookies are fantastic! They are simple to make and I usually have all the ingredients on hand which is nice. My boyfriend requested that I add some craisins..and they are delicious! Usually I bring half of all the goodies I make to work to share with everybody..but my boyfriend has stated that "these cookies are staying here..no giving these ones out!"

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
This is by far the best banana muffin recipe I have made and I have tried a ton! My boyfriend and co-workers were raving about them! They are so moist and flavorful and the crumb topping just puts them over the top!

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
This was really good except for I had way too much crisp topping for it..There was a bunch extra that wouldn't brown up on top because it was too thick..maybe I didn't put enough butter or something..but they were still good..we just had to brush off a little topping before eating..my boyfriend loved them..he thought they tasted like really awesome nutri-grain bars..I think that's because I ended up cooking them longer to try and brown the crust!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
This lasagna is the jam! It is so flavorful and I agree with others' reviews in that it is even better if you build the lasagna and let it sit for a day or two before cooking..it makes it even better! The extra work and effort is so worth it..and I always have extra sauce to freeze and use for spaghetti another night!

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
This was super flavorful..and easy to make..I like it a lot..the only reason I gave it four stars was because I feel it may need more veggies in it..maybe some mushrooms, peppers, or something like that.

Best Spinach Dip Ever

The leek soup definitely gives it a different flavor..delicous! I made some when I had a party and people destroyed it..they even ate all of the dip soaked bread..all that was left on the plate was crumbs

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
These were easy to make and delicious! I added a some pepper bacon crumbles before I baked them and it was a nice extra flavor. The amount of filling is definitely more than needed..after using about 20 mushrooms I still had some filling left..so I used the leftover in some omelettes the next morning and it was delicious!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
This pie was delicious! and not too sweet or rich. I used a pie crust recipe from this 1950s Betty Crocker cookbook that I have (my go to pie crust recipe..flaky an delicious. I also didn't do the lattice because I like a lot of crust. I added the butter and sugar mixture (with cinnamon added) to the apples before putting them in the pie shell and made an egg wash for the top crust and sprinkled brown and white sugar on top. Mmmmm! It was a hit for Thanksgiving!

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
This is the 2nd time I have made this soup after Thankgiving and it is awesome! I made a few changes this time that turned out great..I added more carrots and celery and only added 2 onions, my boyfriend suggested noodles, so I added egg noodles after it had already simmered for about 30-40 minutes and cooked until they were tender (about 6 or 7 minutes). I also put 1 cup milk and 1 cup half and half to make it not quite so thick. This soup is a go to..I don't even know if I'll try another!
