I regret making these...We ate them all, before they even made it to the table. Wow, they were crazy delicious! We rolled some by hand in ball shape, thick tube, thin tube, squeezed some through a pipe really really thin. My favorite (and what came out best with crunchy outside, light soft inside) was the thin hand rolled ones and the thicker tube piped ones. It took a couple tries to figure out what shade of light brown was best. But every last one of these was totally awesome! Will be saving this recipe!

Chinese Napa Cabbage Salad

Perfect! My grandmother makes this salad and I really couldn't find a recipe that was quite what I wanted. The dressing for this recipe is absolutely perfect, though. I generally do not have sesame seeds, so I skip them. I do, however, add a handful of raisins after my grandmother. Yummy! I love it, my boyfriend loves it...Will be adding this to my recipe book.

Plantain Chips

Yummmm! After having a friend's homemade chips I HAD to make them myself. They came out just as delicious, and it was really easy! Next time I am at the market I will be buying more plantains to make this again!

Bread Pudding II

Delicious and SO easy to make! Based on other reviews I used 1.5 cups milk, added nutmeg, and cut the sugar to 1/2 cup brown sugar. I found this was sufficiently sweet, but I've definitely had much sweeter bread pudding and would have also enjoyed the full 3/4 cup. I did use wheat bread, though, so perhaps it just needed a little more sugar to hold up against the flavor of the wheat. I can't really comment on the amount of liquid being appropriate because I used homemade bread that was cut into four thick pieces, not store bought sliced bread. Although, this ratio seems to be a personal preference. Some like a lot of pudding, some like it a little on the drier side. Highly recommend! Simple dessert that is sure to please.

Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes

This was my first time making whole wheat pancakes. These were really delicious! I highly recommend this recipe; it's easy, not too many ingredients, the pancakes fluff up nicely, and it's a really great base for any kind of pancake (not just blueberry!). I gave this recipe 4 stars because they did come out a tad dense as wheat flour is wont to do. Not so much so that it really bothered me, but I think next time I am going to try adding in some wheat gluten to see if it makes a significant difference. Alterations: I used brown sugar instead of a substitute. I did end up using an extra 1/4 cup of milk. I also added cinnamon.

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Great recipe! Very simple to make and quite delicious. I was concerned the honey would make the dish too sweet, but heating it on the stovetop thins the honey out a bit, making it more of a lightly sweetened glaze. Pecans were delicious with the pork. I used thick pork chops as I was cooking for only myself and didn't need a whole tenderloin. Since I was too lazy to pound them thin, I browned them on the stove and put them into the oven for 20 minutes, letting the drippings sit in the pan until the chops were ready. I will definitely be adding this into my regular dinner rotation.
