Loved these! I doubled the sauce, as I love my potatoes SUPER creamy! Have made them three times already and they come out perfect every time. Thank you for the recipe!

Perfect! I used Cheese Whiz as I had no Velveeta - Still turned out amazing. Flawless recipe! Thank you for sharing it!

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
Mmmm...yummy! I made a double batch so I could do full size muffins, yielding 12 full size muffins for myself. This amount may vary depending on the size of your muffin tin. I think next time I might toss in a couple of chunks of Apple Pie Filling, you know, to be all fancy like. ; ) Delicious, thank you for posting.

Easy Sour Cream Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
Wow, this was easy. I wasn't concerned with cracking, as it typically doesn't take away from the taste so I beat the living daylights out of the cream cheese, eggs and sour cream. I did grease the sides of my pan, placed a cake pan full of boiling water on the other rack in the oven, and made a tinfoil tent over the cake itself. (I didn't want that chewy film you can sometimes get...thought the tinfoil would help) Not only did it not crack, but it tasted AMAZING! Tip: Do let it sit overnight in the fridge. I tried a piece a couple hours after cooling and wasn't over the moon - This morning (Hey, don't judge, if there's cheesecake in the fridge it's just as much a breakfast dish as it is a dessert) the cake was SUPERB! I didn't use the crust recipe - I mixed a cup of chocolate crumbs with crushed walnuts and butter. Yummy! Creamy, smooth and impressive! Will be making this one a lot! I also liked that it only used 2 packages of cream cheese - That stuff is starting to resemble the price of gold per ounce! ; )

Caramel Shortbread Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
I followed the modifications outlined in some of the other reviews. Using parchment was probably THE best helpful hint. I cooled in between every stage and they turned out wonderfully! The only problem I have is getting my fiancée to stop eating them before dinner!

Butter Tarts II

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
I was hesitant to use this recipe as didn't seem to be traditional. Well, throw those worries away! My Fiancée playfully proposed again after his first one...and as he gobbled up the last one announced "Make these again...tomorrow!". I used a whipped shortbread for the tart shell. (Pastry isn't my strong point.) It worked out really well. I forgot to put in the lemon juice and they were still amazing! Great recipe, thank you so much for sharing! : )

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

Decadent! I tucked one square of a Caramilk bar inside the middle of each cookie. The caramel was perfectly gooey!

Instant Strawberry Ice Cream

Texture was absolutely beautiful. I can't believe how easy this was! I thought "real" ice cream involved eggs and cooking and mess. This really was the BEST ice cream I've ever had - Super Yummy!

As a vegetarian I thought this recipe would serve a purpose as a main dish. I was correct. Great dish, my family loved it, as did I. Delicious!

I'm a vegetarian and used this on a "Chicken-like" patty that I had cut up. It worked well, I was quite impressed. Definitely adding it the monthly menu rotation. : )

Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

Gorgeous texture, beautifully moist - Easy to make. It was a little too sweet for my liking, next time I'm going to cut the sugar down a bit.

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2010
Fabulous! I used a generic Shake and Bake as my bread crumbs (but omitted the salt required in the recipe). Still left them a little salty. Next time I think I'll mix a few bread crumbs with the Shake and Bake. Other than that, which was my own fault, they were amazing. The family went crazy for them - Myself included! I am looking at the mushrooms, zucchini, and anything else that can be battered to try this on. Delicious!

Mostaccioli with Spinach and Feta

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2010
Can I give this a six star rating? This recipe was of high-end restaurant quality (perfect to impress a date with), not to mention easy, easy, easy! I added more garlic - triple to be exact - have to scare off the vampires don't you know - and an onion, as one review indicated it was a bit bland. I used shell noodles, and it worked wonderfully. It was simply gorgeous! I can't wait to make it again.

Chewy Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2010
This is the first time I have ever made brownies from scratch, as I favour the texture and taste of the grocery store boxed variety. WOW! Extremely easy to prepare, and turned out beyond perfect. I iced them with chocolate icing and topped with crushed pecans. Delicious!

Carrot Cake Bars

Reviewed: May 1, 2010
This was incredibly easy to make. My family loved them! I did watch my baking time, I had to cook for over 30 minutes - but altitude, stove type, pan size/shape etc...would be to blame for that. They turned out light and fluffy, I added a cream cheese icing too, which made them PERFECT! My guess is the recipe would work with Banana baby food? I plan on trying it soon!

Best No-Bake Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
This recipe was extremely easy! I didn't have the issue with the whipping cream, but as I had read previous reviews I added it slowly while whipping, I too added the extra sugar, and as such it has turned out perfect. Delicious....and worthy of ruining a diet over. ; )
