Good, I took a bit more time with the onions and curry powder, threw in a few chili peppers and added a little lime juice, went down very well with the hungry vermin who haunt my house. (i.e. my housemates). Four stars given, as I think it could be improved with a few more spices and ingredients. (Fresh coriander would have been lovely, sadly I had run out) I made this with cumin, turmeric and pea basmati rice (Fry cumin seeds in oil until they start to make little popping noises, throw in a tsp or so of turmeric and fry for a minute, then peas (frozen are fine) until warmed up. Toss in your uncooked Basmati rice, fry in the oil for a few minutes, and then add 1.5 times as much water. Make sure your heat is medium low to low, salt to taste, cover for about 15 mins) You get a lovely, delicately flavoured yellow rice.
